Chelsea Focus: Hazard Up For PFA Fans’ Player Of The Month Award For March

There's no doubting the brilliance of Eden Hazard. The Belgian forward has been in scintillating form for Chelsea this term and is one of the prime reasons why the Blues sit top of the Premier League. He has continues to prove that he is one of the Blues’
most potent weapons this season, much involved in goals in all league matches during the month, including an outstanding strike on Sunday.

list of nominees:
Eden Hazard
Marouane Fellaini
Olivier Giroud
Jordan Henderson
Harry Kane

Hazard's incredible dribbling skills have made him a handful since his arrival at Stamford Bridge in 2012, but the 24-year-old is continually proving to be a decisive source of points in Chelsea's quest for the title.

The former Lille man has scored twice in three games for the Blues in the Premier League in March and his form has led him to be nominated for the PFA Fan’s Player of the Month award. Hazard has been a thorn in the side of each opponent he's faced, first coming up with the winning goal for the Blues in a tough away trip to West Ham. We all know the player for his prowess with the ball at feet, but at Upton Park Hazard popped up with a crucial headed goal - getting on the end of a cross from Ramires to seal a 1-0 victory.

Hazard caused a constant problem to Sam Allardyce's team. It's just so refreshing to see a player continually call for the ball - even while he's the subject of a multitude of heavy tackles. Hazard still retains the moniker of 'most fouled player in the Premier League' and it's easy to see why. He is immensely difficult to stop.

Hazard followed up his goal at West Ham with another excellent display against Southampton. The Blues drew 1-1 at Stamford Bridge, but found their main source of attack coming down the left flank and there are no prizes for guessing who assumed responsibility.

Over the years, it won’t be surprising if Hazard finds himself shifted in-field. He's certainly got the trickery to be able to run through the middle of the park, but in his most recent appearance for the Blues - against Hull City at the KC Stadium - he proved within a couple of minutes of kick-off that there's something else in his tool kit.

Hazard unleashed a thumping strike with his left foot to beat Allan McGregor. He played the full 90 minutes as Chelsea secured a 3-2 win over the Tigers, maintaining a six-point advantage at the top of the Premier League going in to the international break.
